The frogs are “hoppin” to save the environment! Denver native Troy Kailan and his daughters Maggie, 5, and Selena, 7, dressed up as frogs for a march in Civic Center Park in downtown Denver on August 26 to make a point about climate change and loss of species. They joined with other activists in the “Procession for the Future,” a demonstration intended to provide creative images of sustainable solutions and urge elected officials to stay true their promises of change. Kailan tells Youth Radio producer Clare Robbins that a threat to animal life due to environmental destruction is an issue his daughters can understand and connect to.
